Royal French Architectural

Show Flat

The Royal French Architectural Show Flat combines modern Eastern philosophy with classical French fashion.

The design of the Royal French Architectural Show Flat draws inspiration from the romantic French oriental fantasy. It showcases the unique Chinoiserie, a French Chinese style that emerged from the fascination with China 300 years ago. By integrating the cultures of the two countries, this design presents a perfect blend of modern Eastern philosophy and classical French fashion.

Situated within the area of the national Olympic center in Beijing, the Royal French Architectural Show Flat is surrounded by eight Art Deco style apartment buildings in the south zone, accompanied by ten New classical grand mansions. Its ideal location, surrounded by the Olympic Central Park, National Forest Park, and eight major golf courses, makes it the best choice for new members among the modern aristocrats.

The design of the Royal French Architectural Show Flat showcases a variety of unique features. Ivory and beige tones extend from the shared space to other areas, creating a harmonious story. The living room is adorned with traditional Chinese indigo, green, and autumn yellow, reflecting the elegance of Chinese style. The dining room features delicate glassware and porcelain blue tableware, creating an elegant environment for dining. The master bedroom boasts an accent wall decorated with wallpaper trimmed with metal threads and embroidery of flowers and birds in silver and gold strings.

Technical specifications of the Royal French Architectural Show Flat include a total area of 263 square meters, with a height ranging from 2.45m to 2.9m.

The design team behind the Royal French Architectural Show Flat includes Chief Design Director David Chang, along with Jade Li, Roy Liang, Yuanjun Yan, Xiaomin Liu, Jolin Fan, Berry Ling, Cynthia Liang, Rachel Yang, Lily Liu, and Michelle Feng.

One of the design challenges faced during the creation of the Royal French Architectural Show Flat was the limitations imposed by the shear wall structure of the building. Despite these limitations, the team managed to optimize the ceiling height and create a simple structure that allowed for the installation of necessary mechanical and electrical equipment. Variation in the distribution of lights was also explored to enhance the atmosphere in the space.

The Royal French Architectural Show Flat embodies the concept of Eastern thoughts within the modern lifestyle. It utilizes Art Deco forms to create a romantic and tranquil spirit. The foyer, corridor, living room, and dining room are all seamlessly linked to form a unified functional space with abundant natural lighting and comfort. The soft, low-contrast tones and delicately selected materials create an elegant ambiance of serenity.

The Royal French Architectural Show Flat was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in 2018 for its well-designed, practical, and innovative features. This prestigious award recognizes designs that meet professional and industrial requirements while contributing to a better world.
